A canopy view of climate change

A touring art installation has used real-time data collected from the canopies of trees to raise awareness about the environmental changes affecting our planet.

The “Conversation Between Trees” project maps CO₂ emissions data to a smartphone app, allowing users to see the “invisible forces” at play in the forest, all in real-time.

The touring exhibition features data sampled from canopies in Britain’s Sherwood Forets and Brazil’s Mata Atlantica.
