American high school students taking longer to graduate

American high school students are taking longer to graduate, according to a new study.

The Rutgers study identified an increasing number of high school students graduating after they turned 18, with some students not graduating until they were 24. Males and minorities take the most amount of time to graduate.

The research also found that fewer students are dropping out of high school completely.
