Ancient possums prowled in packs

An analysis of an ancient fossil site has led scientists to believe that early mammals were more social then their modern marsupial relatives. The site indicates that 35 Pucadelphys andinus, a primitive possum, were living together, rather than prowling solo as modern possums do.
