Antioxidants improve male fertility

Male fertility could be enhanced by dietary antioxidants, according to researchers at the University of Western Australia.

The study, conducted in crickets, found that a combination of antioxidants including vitamin E boosted the health of sperm.

Existing research already suggested that antioxidants improve the health of sperm but this is the first time it has been proven in live animals, the researchers said.
