Having completed a Mini-COGE with GERRIC at UNSW School of Education, you will have gained valuable knowledge and understanding of best practices in the education of gifted students.
With our Microcredentials, you can expedite the completion of a postgraduate qualification. In addition to obtaining proficient teacher accreditation and valuable professional development, your Microcredential in combination with the Mini-COGE can contribute towards earning 6 Units of Credit (UOC) for the Master of Education or Graduate Certificate at UNSW*.
Converting your Mini-COGE into a postgraduate program in education is quick, flexible and completely online. Simply follow the steps below:
1. After making the payment, you'll gain access to supplementary online materials and resources necessary for completing the assessments in the course. The cost of your Microcredential covers the acquisition of the mandatory E-textbook, a crucial resource for successfully finishing the microcredential.
2. Finish and upload the two course assessments using the online platform. Your submissions will be reviewed by a member of the GERRIC Academic team, who will then disclose your result.
3. Upon successful completion of the module, you will be invited to apply for postgraduate study. The 6 UOC will be applied upon commencement of study.
*Eligibility: This course is offered to participants who have completed the Mini-COGE since January 2015. You will be asked to confirm when you completed the Mini-COGE during the registration process. If you are unsure when you completed this please contact us via ada.sc@unsw.edu.au.
