As part of Indigenous Business Month UTS Business School and Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research are proud to host a morning tea featuring a panel of rising Indigenous business stars and UTS alumni. In the spirit of this year's NAIDOC theme "Because of Her, We Can" we present an informal discussion showcasing these talented women's experience, learnings, hopes and a word or two of advice.

Hosted by Robynne Quiggin, Professor of Practice in Indigenous Business and Director of Indigenous Strategy at UTS Business School, the panel will feature:

  • Naomi Broom - Business Analyst, Macquarie Group
  • Barbie-Lee Kirby - Manager, Corporate Governance, Qantas
  • Mayrah Sonter - co-founder and co-director, 33 Creative
  • Josephine Cashman - Founder, Executive Director and Managing Director of Big River Consulting Pty Ltd

Join us for morning tea of Indigenous food and be inspired and informed as you learn how university education, mixed with determination, can provide the opportunities to play a lead role in creating the business future of Australia and beyond.
