Nearly three quarters of Australians are now shopping online making us the most frequent online shoppers in the world, according to Swinburne’s ‘Internet in Australia’ survey.
The survey, part of the World Internet Project, also claims 88% of Australians use the internet to research products. Almost half check prices in local stores before buying online instead.
Despite this, 87% remain concerned about credit card safety, and many dislike the difficulty of returning products bought online.
