Vinita Srivastava is a journalist, educator and interdisciplinary researcher who has reported and edited for the Village Voice, Savoy, VIBE, WBAI Radio and the New York Times Magazine. She was a journalism professor at Ryerson University where she was also the director of Verse City, a multimedia boot camp for marginalized youth. She has led media workshops at the National University of Rwanda, the Documentary Organization of Canada, Young People's Press and the City of Toronto.

Hannah Hoag is an award-winning journalist who has covered the environment, science and medicine for 15 years. She has written for Nature, Wired, bioGraphic, The Atlantic, the New York Times, the Globe and Mail, and Maclean’s. She launched and ran Arctic Deeply, an independent digital media project covering circumpolar Arctic issues. She has graduate degrees in biology (human genetics) from McGill University and in science and medical journalism from Boston University.

Susannah Schmidt is a journalist who worked as general reporter for Turtle Island News and edited for the United Church of Canada. For the Centre for Global Social Policy, Susannah wrote general-public stories to share research. Susannah has a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University and a BA in Drama and Religious Studies from McGill University. She is a graduate student at St. Jerome's University affiliated with the University of Waterloo.

As a UX specialist and design thinker, Zoe is excited about technology’s ability to enable better human communication and collaboration. Zoe has previously managed the Wilderness Society’s brand and website launch to raise awareness of nature conservation; founded Ain’t no Planet B to inspire 11k loyalists to live waste free; and supported the launch of Redbubble’s first iOS app and new-look design system.
