Computer simulation shows new HIV behaviour

Computer simulations have shown that early infection of the HIV virus still allows for rapid evolution, bypassing the immune system and conventional treatments.

Under realistic conditions, a virus population of one could still evolve.

This research goes against traditional ideas of how the HIV virus transforms over time.

Further research and knowledge is needed to develop new vaccienes and strategies to control the spread.
