Controlling invasive fish with electrofishing

It is largely impossible to entirely control a population of invasive fish. However, research on using electrofishing to reduce an introduced tilapia population has proved highly effective. The study found a 366% reduction in juvenile fish after electrofishing. The method works particularly well in cooler weather and in enclosed areas.
