Decreased protein intake aids weight loss

Adjusting the intake of high protein foods like meat, eggs and milk products could aid weight loss. ANU researchers generated mice that could not digest protein as well as normal mice and measured a wide variety of physiological and physical properties. The poor-protein-digesting mice tended to be smaller than normal mice, which suggests eating more protein can increase our body size in the long term.
