Brisbane should prepare for harmful earthquakes, according to German experts.
Dr Bijan Khazai and Dr James Daniell of Germany’s Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, who will present at a Griffith University seminar tomorrow and workshop earthquake response strategies.
The possibility of a harmful earthquake striking Brisbane cannot be ignored. The seminar will address the structural, economical, logistical and health-related response strategies that would be necessary in the event of an earthquake.
