Falling on hard times: Alzheimer’s linked to poor balance

Falling over and balance problems may be early warnings for Alzheimer’s disease, according to US university researchers.

The study suggested that people who showed early signs of the disease were more likely to fall than those whose brains did not show the same signs.

Falls had previously only been linked with the late stages of Alzheimer’s disease.
