Feed me protein till I burst

The human instinct to satisfy our protein intake overrides our satisfaction to eat our fill.

This could be a key factor in understanding the global obesity epidemic, as people’s total energy intake is increasing as the percentage of protein in their diet gets smaller.

The research combined the results of 38 published experimental trials, which measured the unrestricted energy intake of people who are on different diets while also considering age ranges, body mass indexes and diet durations.
