Half siblings provide clues for autism inheritance

The autism risk for half siblings of people with autism is about half of what it is for full siblings, according to a new study.

The study also indicated that mothers and fathers have an equal contribution to the transmission of the disorder.

The results have provided new clues on how autism is inherited.
