How to spot the real villain

Police should concentrate on organising photo line-ups for witnesses to pick out the real criminal, instead of arranging identity parades, according to Professor Neil Brewer of Flinders University. The international expert on eyewitness reliability says that using photographs increases the chances of a witness remembering the face of the criminal as the gallery can be put together much more quickly.
