Hunters an untapped resource in pest-management

Recreational hunters could significantly contribute to pest-management according to a new study.

Survey results have indicated that most hunters would be willing to contribute to managing Australia’s pests, which harm the environment by eating native animals and destroying habitat. 99% of those surveyed indicated they would be happy to help.

Recreational hunters already play a large role in pest-management in countries such as the US.
