One in six cancers are caused by largely treatable or preventable infections, according to new research.
The research looked at 27 cancers in 184 countries, and found four infections to be mainly responsible: human papillomavirus, Helicobacter pylori, and hepatitis B and C.
The researchers hope that more efforts will put into preventing these preventable cancers in the future.
