Insight into brain tumour communication

Brain tumours communicate with other cells in a similar way to twitter, according to a new study from the Brain and Mind Research Institute.

It found that brain tumours release small bits of information - microvesicles - which interact with brain blood vessel cells.

This discovery will help researchers in creating new treatments for patients with brain tumours.
