CQUniversity Australia

Renowned as one of the nation’s most inclusive higher education institutions, CQUniversity’s merger with CQ TAFE in 2014 also made it Queensland’s first comprehensive university. With more than 300 education and training offerings, from short courses, certificates and diplomas through to undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees, students can study on-campus at locations Australia-wide, including Adelaide, Biloela, Brisbane, Bundaberg, Cairns, Emerald, Gladstone, Mackay, Melbourne, Noosa, Rockhampton, Townsville, Sydney and Yeppoon. Distance education is a specialty for CQUniversity, with nearly half of all students choosing this flexible and supported learning mode.

CQUniversity is also a research-focused university, with specialties in future farming, railway engineering, and intelligent and networked systems. In the 2012 Excellence in Research Australia rankings, CQUniversity was rated at or above world standard in the areas of agriculture, applied mathematics, nursing, and medical and health sciences.
