Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre

The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre is Australia’s only public hospital solely dedicated to cancer, and home to Australia’s largest cancer research group.

Peter Mac treats more cancer patients each year than any other Australian hospital and, with researchers and clinicians working side-by-side, is a major contributor to advances in cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Peter Mac leads national and international studies to advance basic research, translational research and clinical trials. Our cancer research program encompasses 31 laboratories and over 520 scientists, clinician-researchers, research nurses and other health professionals involved in cancer research at the laboratory bench, in the clinic, at the patient bedside and beyond.
