Shanghai University

Shanghai University was founded in May 1994, by consolidating four former institutions of higher learning: Shanghai University of Technology, Shanghai University of Science & Technology, Shanghai Institute of Science & Technology and the former Shanghai University.

Shanghai University is one of the nation’s leading research universities. The university is amongst the list of Project 211 for top national universities. It is also the biggest institution of higher learning run by Shanghai Municipality.
