As communities move to save more water, stormwater, wastewater and drinking water systems are being increasingly integrated to support reuse and recycling. But this can cause a new set of problems: infrastructure that degrades more quickly and concerns about water quality. CSIRO is developing a network of sensors which can quickly alert users to problems with quality and predict when infrastructure will degrade.
