Kidney disease linked to delayed growth in children

Children with damaged kidney functions are likely to endure poor growth, impeded puberty growth and heart problems. 35% of all deaths in young adults suffering from kidney disease result from heart disease.

The study looked at children with mild to moderately-damaged kidneys whose disease slowed when treatments were applied.
