Australian couples are increasingly likely to live separately as part of “Living Apart Together (LAT)” relationships.
Karen Upton-Davis of The University of Western Australia has commenced a study that focuses on how such relationships affect families and friends, as well as the way women view themselves.
Her preliminary studies have found that one in four of Australia’s supposedly single adults now live in LAT relationships.
