Lizards not so dumb after all

Puerto Rican anoles have challenged the scientific stereotype that reptiles have limited cognitive abilities, passing a test normally used on birds.

The test required the lizard to remove the cap on a small well containing a worm, thereby demonstrating that the anole can solve problems it has never faced before.
