Mental health risks for bullies and victims

Both young bullies and their victims are more likely to develop mental health issues, a study has found.

Bullies were more likely to develop behaviours such as substance abuse and interpersonal violence.

Victims of bullying, on the other hand, were more prone to depression and social withdrawal.

The researchers concluded that bullies and bullying victims need their mental health monitored.
