Older women a Wii bit happier

Playing the Nintendo Wii benefits the social and emotional wellbeing of older women, according to La Trobe University researchers. The 12 week study monitored Nintendo Wii use in women aged 56 to 84 and found the participants felt a greater sense of physical wellbeing after playing. Many of the women noted that being more technologically adept allowed them to be better connected with their grandchildren.
