Paracetamol creates greater risk of fractures

An examination of data from the Geelong Osteoporosis Study has shown that paracetamol may increase the chance of fracturing a bone by 56 per cent. Noting the widespread use of paracetamol, the study authors have called for further investigation to replicate and validate their findings in clinical and pre-clinical studies.
