Pregnant women willing to have flu shot

A survey of women from antenatal clinics in New South Wales has found that they are more likely to have the flu vaccine if their doctor recommends it.

But less than half of the women remembered being advised to have the vaccine. While some had concerns about the vaccine’s safety, they said they would still have the shot if it was recommended by their doctor or midwife.
