Dr Navarria is a Visiting Research Associate at the Centre for Political Thought at University of Exeter. Previously he was Fellow of the Sydney Democracy Network at the University of Sydney.

In Sydney, he also worked as Lecturer, teaching Postgraduate and Undergraduate Units of Studies in the field of Politics, Regime Transitions, IR, Public Opinion, Media and Public Relations.

Dr Navarria has a PhD in Politics and Media from the University of Westminster and a Degree in Philosophy from the University of Catania..
