Senior Research Fellow in Sociology at the Centre for Social Impact, UNSW

Abigail is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Impact (CSI). Abigail has over 10 years experience as an academic researcher and her expertise includes gender and women in the workplace, work-life balance, young people and social policy.

Abigail's recent research projects are about whether flexible work arrangements really promote work-life balance for employees; women's recruitment, retention and progress in the construction industry; supporting young people within their families and communities to be socially and economically engaged; and understanding what it takes to work together and collaborate with others to create change for social purpose.

Abigail has a PhD in Social Sciences (Loughborough University), an MA in Research Methods (University of Nottingham) and BA (Hons) in Social and Political Studies (University of Sheffield).
