Adam Blanchard

I'm currently starting my own lab group to focus on microbial genomics, antimicrobial resistance and environmental contamination. My previous research projects have involved Ovine footrot and the associated bacteria. With the main focus on developing a wgMLST scheme, metagenomics and complex organ culture models. During my PhD I developed a protocol for the elucidation of Gram-positive bacterial essential genes with the Streptococcal research group at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science.
