Senior Lecturer in Social Science and Health, Cardiff University

I joined Cardiff University in October 2012. I’m a Senior Lecturer in the Cardiff School of Social Sciences and a member of the Centre for the Development and Evaluation of Complex Interventions for Public Health Improvement (DECIPHer), which is a UK centre of excellence for public health research. My research focuses on the complex determinants of young people's health, and how we can address these, and I direct a programme of work within DECIPHer on health improvement in schools and other youth settings. I teach undergraduate and MSc students in the Cardiff School of Social Sciences and I’m an honorary lecturer in the Faculty of Public Health and Policy at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (where I worked from 2005-2012).
