Professor in Finance, Charles Sturt University

Adam Steen has over 25 years experience in the tertiary education sector having worked in a number of leading Australian and International Business Schools. His applied finance and accounting research has been published in leading international journals including: The Journal of Banking and Finance, Corporate Governance an International Review, Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal, Human Resource Management, Tourism Management and Family Business Review. Professor Steen is an active member and Fellow of CPA Australia and Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He has conducted consulting assignments, principally involving the evaluation of programs, for the Australian Government, World Bank, Government of Indonesia and other local and global organisations. He has successfully supervised Honours, Masters and PhD students to completion. His major research interests are in the areas of Corporate Finance (in particular Initial Public Offerings) and financial counselling and literacy.
