Associate Professor of Psychology, Laurentian University

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and a Consulting Psychologist for a number of organizations across Canada (including hospital programs and community mental health clinics). Along with Dr. Joanne Dolhanty, I have developed Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) for eating disorders and general mental health issues. Part of the Emotion-Focused Therapy "family" and rooted in a deep belief in the healing power of families, the essence of EFFT is to afford caregivers a significant role in their loved one's healing.

I teach Social Psychology and Clinical Psychology at the undergraduate level & Psychological Disorders and Psychotherapy at the graduate level. I am also the MA Practicum Co-ordinator.
