Akwasi Kwarteng Amoako-Gyampah (previously known as Samuel Amoako), holds a PhD in Historical Studies from the University of Johannesburg. He currently works at the Department of History Education, University of Education, Winneba. Akwasi does research in History of Medicine and Public Health, Labour History and History of History. His current project is 'Sanitation and Public Hygiene in Colonial and Post-colonial Ghana
