He obtained his degree in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), later he participated as a therapist in the PTSD project to care for victims of criminal violence through Virtual Reality. He was granted with Santiago Grisolía scholarship from the Community of Valencia, Spain, where he worked as a therapist and researcher with the Labpsitec research group (Laboratory of Psychology and Technology) at the University of Valencia, where he implemented psychological treatment through the use of Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, online interventions, among other technological tools.
He completed his master's and doctorate degrees with the implementation of intervention through digital platforms aimed at sedentary population to increase physical activity accompanied by pedometers and also of the MEAL platform, a project funded by the European Union, which aims to teach Nutrition Education to girls and boys between 9 and 12 years old through serious games and to train primary school teachers and nutritionists
Afterwards, he participated as a visiting researcher in the Lehrstuhl für Gesundheitspsychologie research group at the University of Mannheim, Germany. On a Project that analyzed the cortisol response on University Students submited to TSST-G. He has worked as a full-time research professor at the Autonomous University of Baja California and in private universities in México. He has published in international journals on JCR on topics related to the modification of behavior, acquisition of nutritional educational knowledge through technologies, and implementation of clinical treatments for the reduction of symptomatology of anxiety and affective disorder.
He is recently certified as User Experience designer by CareerFoundry, and is implementing the UX principles in only interventions and he is currently collaborating with the International University of Valencia, Spain (VIU) and is director of the COVID-19 Mental Health intervention. https://www.saludmentalcovid.com/ a self-applied treatment for the symptoms of anxiety and depression due to psychological impact of COVID-19 and the measures adopted to reduce the spread of the virus.
