Research Fellow in Human Geography, University of Southampton

I currently work as a Research Fellow in Geography and Environment at The University of Southampton. I am interested in how Climate Change impacts on humans, and particularly focus on how humans respond. This includes looking at the social and political issues which prevent communities successfully adapting to climate change, and what successful adaptation really means.

I completed my PhD at the University of Southampton in 2016, which focused on the challenges faced by rice farmers in the Mekong Delta, and how the Vietnamese government has responded. Prior to that I studied a BSc in Environmental Economics and Management at The University of York.
