Associate Professor in Art History, The University of Melbourne

Alison Inglis is an Associate Professor in Art History at the University of Melbourne and is Acting Director of the Australian Institute of Art History. She co-ordinates the MA of Art Curatorship program and her research interests include nineteenth-century art and the history of art museums and exhibitions. She has served on several museum boards (including the NGV, Heide Museum of Modern Art, the Duldig Studio and Museums Victoria). She was appointed an Emeritus Trustee of the National Gallery of Victoria in 2010. Alison also undertakes curatorial work and was co-curator of the exhibition, For Auld Lang Syne, at the Art Gallery of Ballarat in 2014.
