Alistair Watson

Alistair Watson is a freelance economist based in Melbourne. Previously, he worked for the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and the University of Melbourne. He is a distinguished fellow of the Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society. Dr Watson’s principal research interests are Australian agricultural policy, Chinese political economy and the economics of water and irrigation.
