Research Fellow, University of Bristol

I research how socioeconomic circumstances and experiences impact on health - and how health shapes socioeconomic circumstances. I trained in Social Epidemiology, and use causal methods such as Mendelian Randomization as well as traditional approaches in my work. My particular research interests are body weight, mental health, health correlates of employment and unemployment, and the role of stigma in health inequalities.
