Medical Anthropology PhD candidate, The University of Edinburgh

Amanda Hunter is a PhD candidate in Medical Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh, having previously studied at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She has also been working in Edinburgh as a birth doula since 2007 and has undertaken extensive training exploring childbirth-related issues during this period.
