Amée is a doctoral researcher in the Department of Sport & Exercise Sciences at Durham University. Her doctoral research, which is funded by the AHRC, explores women’s experiences of working in leadership positions in men’s professional football in England during the ‘new football’ era. This project aims to broaden sociological understandings of women’s work in male-dominated occupations, whilst helping to uncover the hidden history of women’s work in football leadership.
