Dr Amos Ochieng has a PhD from Wageningen University, The Netherlands, with a specialty in Tourism, Conservation and Development issues.
He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Forestry, Biodiversity and Tourism, Makerere University, Uganda.
He is also an active member of the Cultural Heritage Association of Uganda (CHAU), an association that is committed to promoting the tangible and intangible cultural products for diversification of the tourism range in Uganda.
He is also the Director Encounter Africa Safaris Ltd
