Anatoly Reshetnikov

PhD Researcher, Central European University

Anatoly Reshetnikov is a PhD researcher and a Lecturer at the Department of International Relations of Central European University. In his current project, Anatoly is reconstructing the evolution of Russia’s age-old idea of being a great power. His broader research interests include identity politics, history of ideas, linguistic approaches to social analysis, contemporary Russian politics, the concept of responsibility in international relations, and new institutionalised techniques of political control and resistance, such as political trolling. In addition to working at CEU, Anatoly held research fellowships at University College London and Lund University. He also taught at Eötvös Loránd University and Mathias Corvinus Collegium in Budapest.
