Andrew Allan

I’m part of the urban and regional planning discipline, located within the School of Arts, Architecture and Design at the University of South Australia's City West Campus, in a multi-disciplinary School encompassing a broad range of related fields that are complementary to the planning profession, and which reflects the close relationship that the planning profession has had with architecture from its very beginnings. My area of specialisations include transport planning and policy, regional planning, infrastructure planning and the application of technology to manage and plan urban and regional environments. My teaching in the undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in urban and regional planning focuses on critical elements that are essential to the smooth and efficient running of modern urban settlements. These elements include infrastructure (i.e. water, sewerage, waste management, communications and energy) and transport.
