NHMRC Biomedical Australian Research Fellow, University of Sydney

Dr Andrew Hoy is a metabolic physiologist in the Discipline of Physiology at the University of Sydney. He studies the role of dysregulated lipid metabolism in a variety of diseases, including obesity, type 2 diabetes and cancer, with the aim of developing new therapies. Dr Hoy currently holds a fellowship from the NHMRC. He is also a father of 3 boys, including 2 year old twins and is President of the NSW branch of the Australian Multiple Birth Association (AMBA NSW Inc).
