Wallace Fellow, Villa I Tatti, the Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies, and Professor of Architecture, University of Sydney

Andrew Leach is Professor of Architecture at the University of Sydney and, currently, a Wallace Fellow at the Villa I Tatti, Harvard’s Center for Italian Renaissance Studies. He is a historian of architecture, with books on the architectural and urban history of the Gold Coast and Rome, on questions of discomfort and historiography, and monographic studies on Manfredo Tafuri (historian of architecture) and F H Newman (architect). His forthcoming books treat the history of architectural education at the University of Sydney and reflect on the historiography of mannerism. He is editor-in-chief of Architectural Theory Review and a former editor of Fabrications.
