Andriamirnto Raveloson graduated with an MSc degree in geophysics from the University of Antananarivo, Madagascar in 2000. He started his earlier career as a scientist associate at the Institute and Observatory of Geophysics in Antananarivo (IOGA). He graduated with a PhD from the Freie Universitäte Berlin in 2011, where he was supervised by Professor Rainer Kind. His first experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow started in November 2011 with Professor Andy Nyblade at Pennsylvania State University, USA. In November 2014 he joined the School of Geosciences at Wits University , South Africa as a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Professor Ray Durrheim, where he is responsible for the AfricaArray network of geophysical observatories.
